a private oasis situated in the Comox Valley. just a 5 minute drive or 20 minute bike ride to downtown Courtenay, the 2-story cabin is situated on 2.5 acres and has minimal traffic noise and light pollution. the loft-style A-frame boasts a separate bedroom with a very comfortable double bed , with an open concept work area adjacent on the second floor. downstairs is a full kitchen, full bathroom with shower, as well as a futon that pulls out to a double-bed. the cabin is behind my family’s main living house, so you will only have access to the cabin. parking is available, and if you are interested in borrowing bikes, there is also the possibility of doing so. otherwise, it would be recommended to rent a vehicle. mountains and lakes are all a quick drive away, and Cumberland is less than a 10 minute carride. unfortunately the Comox Valley does not have carshare, and as I drive I can not speak to transit. there is wifi here, albeit it can be spotty and slow. the cabin would be perfect for any musician, writer, graphic designer, photographer, etc… non-messy, noise OK until 10pm. no weapons, no drugs, minimal alcohol consumption (know your limit, play within it!) if using the patio, please be mindful that the backyard is shared with the main house. no washer, but if you are okay handwashing clothing (we have liquid laundry soap), there is a drying rack available. all other details and house rules available upon request. 🙂
