The little Yellowhouse on Sturdies Bay Galiano Island BC is a few minutes walk away from the ferry terminal. There are daily sailings from Tswassen Vancouver (55min) and Swartz Bay Victoria.(2hr) The art centre has been running as a not for profit and offering ongoing art programming as well as exhibitions, performances and artist residencies since 2017.

Only minimum of 7 maximum of 14 days during certain months are available for swap residency. Artists from all disciplines are welcome. Suitable for 1 person or a couple. There is a piano, living / working office space, private bedroom and visual art supplies +chairs and tables, full kitchen, bathroom with shower and good wifi connection.

Willingness of facilitating the ongoing Friday Art with Youth program for the community between 11 am and 1 pm is a plus but not an obligation.
