Hi! My name is Michaela and I’m a writer. My first novel was published in 2017 and I’m currently working on my second one. I also work as a freelance journalist and translator (mainly Finnish to Swedish).

I have a small but cozy one bedroom apartment (30 sqm) in Kallio area in Helsinki. It’s walking distance to a lot of cafes, restaurants and bars, but still quiet in the night. The coworking space I work from is only a few minutes away from the apartment.

The apartment has a nice balcony where you can hang out if it’s warm. There is also both a dishwasher and a washing machine. The bed is big and comfortable. You can use my bike if you want to explore Helsinki, but the public transport is also great. The tram runs right outside the door and it’s a 7 minute walk to the subway. You’re in the city center in 15–20 minutes.
