I am a photographer, new media professor and internationally exhibiting artist listing my home and studio. I am very embedded in the arts both here in Boulder and in Denver, so I can offer a lot of connections to creative people and organizations. I own a three bedroom (one is my office / studio) remodeled mobile home 10 minutes drive south of Boulder, Colorado. The only thing between my home and the mountains is a horse farm, protected open space land, a creek and hiking trails. You can bike into town in about 25 minutes. You can drive in to town in about 10 minutes.

In the spring and summer when snowmelt is coming down from the mountains you can hear the stream from the bedroom window. I often hear owls, coyotes, and other sounds of nature. The only time there is more noise is from the road next to the park during commuting hours. Though some may carry stigma about mobile home parks, ours is very safe, neighbors are quiet and respectful and even watchful of strangers.

There is a full bath (shower, sink, toilet) at the back of my place and in the master bedroom (with the panoramic view of the mountains) there is a sink and half bath (no shower, just toilet and a closet). My home is a great place for someone who wants to spend time outdoors and experience the mountains and trails around Boulder. You can literally walk out the front door and be on a hiking trail looking at the mountains in minutes.

My studio is in a warehouse about 15 drive from my home that you could use, as well. I can send more info about the studio if you are seriously interested in swapping with me.
