Hello,

I can offer a two bedroomed house with separate private studio 6.5mx3m in the garden suitable for artists, the house is in a small town 1km from the sea and in beautiful Suffolk coast and heaths landscape. The studio is self contained and ok for most kinds of work, but no specialist equipment is there, it is just a space. The house has everything you need and a office space with scanner and printer. I also have a small dog who goes with me and the house is dog friendly. There are many artists, muscians, designers and creatives who live around this part of Suffolk and it offers inspirational landscapes, quiet, and space to explore new work and projects.I would like to swap with similar that has use of a studio for drawing, small sculpture, I am very keen to visit Finland and to spend a month there to develop new work.

I am an artist based in Suffolk, working in sculpture and installation for large scale commissions within the public realm, I draw on my interests in industrial architecture, embroidery and geometry to create works which reference the history of their locations. Given the permanent nature of the majority of my work, I aim to establish a sense of timelessness by employing elegant simple design elements alongside a freer, playful approach to imagery.

In addition to public works, I also make experimental, drawings and materials-based works which inform my commissions. Many of these works relate to the elapse of time and are inspired by the process of nature when objects and buildings in the environment are neglected.

I am currently working on four new permanent public works and have completed several large scale public art commissions including works in Shetland, London, Dublin and France.
