Hello artists!

We are a married couple of artists, Carlos and Cristina. Carlos is an architect and sculptor (@carmma_escultura) and Cristina is a painter (@crisdeber, @crisdever).

We have a lovely house and studio in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (18.000 population), a charming, cultural and artistic town close to Madrid capital city (It’s only 45 minutes from Madrid by bus/train).

We have a 2 bed house for 1/2 artists with a beautiful studio with garden to swap.

Our house is very well situated in the town, near cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and plenty of natural spaces, mountains and sport activities offers.

There are one large bedroom and a blow up bed that can be used in the livingroom.

The studio is 5,5 x 2,8 metres and is equipped with woodworking bench and plenty of room to paint, drawing, design, or sculpturing.

We are seeking a swap for around two weeks up to three months.

We are using to swapping and travelling and are relaxed hosts. No pets allowed here but we would be happy to look after yours.

In the heart of the Sierra de Guadarrama, less than 40 kilometers from Madrid, the town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial is located. The Monte Abantos (mountain), its pine forest, and the Dehesa de La Herrería, make up the natural landscape of this place whose main point is the Monasterio de El Escorial (El Escorial’s monestary). Thanks to its privileged location on the Madrid Mountains, it offers many leisure opportunities and cultural routes that you cannot miss.
