Hello, this is Tiziana, I am a writer and a literary translator. I live in Matera, an ancient and beautiful town South-East of Italy where many artists from all over the world come for inspiration and work. My 60 sqm apartment is on the ground floor, in a quiet residential complex, composed of a living room (with a king size sofa bed), a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom, with a shared garden. The property is 15 to 20 minutes’ walk from the historic center and the awesome Sassi. A wide free parking area is at a 50 to 150 meters distance from the apartment.

The neighborhood is just a few hundred meters far from the historic center and, still, it is quiet, peaceful, with pine grove, trails and green spaces. Bars, greengrocers, butchers, minimarkets, pizzerias, restaurants, a post office, two banks, a creamery, a tobacco shop, a barber/hairdresser and a daily fresh fruit and vegetable market are all within 3 to 10 minutes’ walk. The public swimming pool and the sports arena are 600 meters far from the apartment. On Wednesdays, a large local market is open and just 5 minutes on foot from the apartment. The nearest urban bus stop is 150 meters from the apartment. The airport shuttle/train/suburban bus central station, the Court and the Town Hall are 600 to 800 meters from the apartment. Piazza Vittorio Veneto, underground Matera with the ancient Palombaro Lungo and Via Ridola/Sassi are all within walking distance.
