Description

The Desapê apartment was installed in 2016 in a studio apartment on the twenty-third floor of the Copan Building, done by the renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, to house an art archive, publications and artist books. Since then, it has promoted many meetings, exhibitions, participated in art and printed material fairs. At the beginning of 2023, we opened a space within a historic mall center a few meters from Copan and transferred our collection and archive there so that we could start hosting artists and projects in the apartment, offering the space as a self-managed artistic residency.
