NYC Artist Studio for London Home Swap

My husband and I are looking to swap my art studio for a flat in London from late May until mid-October (with some flexibility around dates).

The studio is not a live-in space, but we are looking for somewhere to live in London—we’re happy to supplement the swap by paying partial rent.

Private studio
Dust-free environment suitable for a painter, sculptor, or textile artist
High ceilings and original wood floors
Slop sink and bathroom
Hi-speed internet
Large glass palette and new Mabef Convertible Easel
Storage rack, small couch, and fans
Low-noise environment (headphones required)
No windows but ample ventilation through gap between top of wall and ceilings (see photo)
Located on the ground floor of an artist-run studio space in Ridgewood, Queens (tons of cafes and restaurants in the area)
Just a few blocks from the Forest Ave M train stop, offering direct access to downtown Manhattan in under 30 minutes
Art supply store conveniently located a few blocks away

ABOUT US AND WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are professionals in our early/mid 30s, clean, respectful, and non-smokers. We’re looking for:

A home ideally in East or North London (e.g. Hackney, Dalston, Finsbury Park)—but we’re open to considering options across the city
No flatmates
Available continuously for as much of the period between late May and mid-October as possible (though we could make the artist studio available to you earlier than May)
