I am offering my studio apartment in Tampere, Finland for an artist residency swap.

My studio apartment is in a 100-year old wooden house on a hill with a beautiful lake view. The district I live in is called Pispala, it is famous for it’s old wooden houses, bohemian feel and absolutely stunning nature. Walk down the hill for a swim, take a boat trip (or in the winter walk up on the frozen lake) to the islands near by or have a walk in the forests around. This is the perfect place for peace, inspiration and cozy feeling. The city center of Tampere is only few kilometers away, 15 minutes by bike or even less with public transportation. City of Tampere is known for it’s theaters, but there is also a great deal of galleries and dance opportunities. Myself as a dancer, I appreciate the dance community in the city and the training possibilities for professionals.

The capital Helsinki is only 1,5 hour train ride away. Tampere has also an international airport.

I would be happy to offer my home for a fellow artist to work in a different setting. In return I would love to explore the dancing and performance field in another country, network, train and create my own artistic work further.
